Northwest Spreader Waterway Exit - Focus Project 2023

The information posted here will relate to an additional waterway exit for the boating residents in Northwest Cape Coral. 

There is currently only one exit in the southern section of the Northwest Spreader next to Sirenia Vista Park and it does not provide the boaters that live in the northeast corner of the city a reasonably timed trip out to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf.

Since 2013, the Northwest Spreader Canal has undergone several significant projects.  The NWNA has been involved in each, ensuring that the needs and desires of our membership are included in any decisions.  Learn more about the initiative. NWNA’s continued surveying and lobbying,  the City reinstituted a dredging program in 2015 to restore depth to the Spreader and side canals to allow safe passage of our boating community.
